Features
Blackout Migration Project Upgrades
The Blackout Migration Project now supports a variety of new workflows, including:
Migrations can be performed between documents within the current workspaces, not just across workspaces.
Migrations supports Spreadsheet, Image, and PDF markups.
Destination documents are no longer required to be unredacted, allowing for merging multiple markup sets or propagating markups to duplicates without worrying about collisions.
The Migration Project allows unlimited flexibility in moving markups between markup sets, workspaces, and documents!
Calculated Blackout Usage Added to EDDS Database
Blackout usage is now calculated and stored identically to how Milyli stored that information for billing in the EDDS database. This data is available for you to query and report on and know, with confidence, that it matches Milyli's records!
For more details on accessing this information, please see our support center for a helpful overview.
The Blackout Usage reports now reflect the updated information.
General Updates
Removed Blackout generated Word Scope OCR; Character-scoped OCR is used automatically.
All legacy HTML viewer logic was removed.
Blackout versions were simplified to improve communication between Milyli and our customers. Future releases, including this one, will use a #.#.#.#### format.
Bug Fixes
Several updates have been made to the underlying Excel redaction technology based on specific documents shared by customers who experienced redaction failures.
Blackout and Relativity version numbers are now included in exported logs.
Improved performance when deleting existing suggestions on documents after the 5.1 update.
Significantly improved projects' performance using a large number (1,000+) of dtSearch rules.
Fixed a bug that allowed duplicate RegEx rules from appearing in the dropdown on PDF projects.
Fixed an issue where dtSearch errors were not logged in the system log.
Fixed a bug where pending project status requests would pile up when a project was attempting to stop, resulting in the project trying to stop indefinitely. With the fix, the project will go into the stopping status immediately, and there will not be multiple pending status calls.
Fixed a bug where users could not manually redact chart data labels that consisted of only numbers.
